I am going to the concert but I am seeing the one in Anaheim California :( Shame... it would have been fun to hang out :(

Would if I could.
I haven\'t seen them since... umm... the 80\'s.
But it\'s just too far away for me.
Unless I start walking tomorrow.

Just saw them Friday here in Chicago at Lollapalooza- they were brilliant. Maybe one of the top three performances of the weekend (with Jane\'s Addiction and the Kaiser Chiefs).

You are a very lucky man.. I would\'ve killed to see some of those Lolla bands over the course of 3 days (and the after show with Them Crooked Vultures, which sounds like it was incredible).

You\'re right! Didn\'t recognise him, until you mentioned him. Was that pic from the P.I.L. time?

@ Ritual...PIL would be my guess for that pic.... Actually, John Lydon has just announced that he\'s reforming PIL... There seems to be lots of 80\'s band getting back together atm :)

They're great. BBC4 have been running some shows called "Synth Brittannia" this year and I've been re-discovering some classic 80s music lodged deep in my subconscious (having been born in the early 80s). I kind of like Enjoy The Silence best. 80s music is so good.

My mates got a house just round the corner from Kings Cross in London. I was helping them move in on their first day and I found a British Telecoms log book. So I flicked through it to the front and found that a company called "Depeche Mode" was the first entry. Turns out the band had used the house as an office and base in the early ninties, pretty cool eh? I wonder if in 50 or so years it will get one of those blue plaques saying "Depeche mode lived here". Probably not.
