If anyone\'s heard the news about the coach crash in Ecuador.

I know a really close friend of mine over there at the moment.

Does anyone know of anywhere to check if they \\re involved?

Thanks in advance.
<hugs to all>

The Foreign Office has released the names.

Hopefully your friend is well.

For those who haven\'t seen the news reports, it can be found here - http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24098217/

Thanks all.
Thankfully she isn\'t one of the 5 casualties, but I can\'t find anything about the 12 injured.

Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers DR - I tried the number, but the Foreign office can\'t give out information to friends. I\'ve contacted a few of her other friends too.

I guess if I don\'t hear anything soon I could try her HOME, but I don\'t wanna bother her parents.

Typical Civil Service attitude advertise one thing then say it can\'t be done.

Dan I\'d give her parents a call regardless. That way you\'ll have some peace of mind and they\'ll know someones concerned. If she is among the injured, a friend might just be the relief they need at this time.

Finally managed to get hold of her parents, and she called them yesterday - she\'s safe and part of a different tour group to that involved.

Thanks ALL.
