Hey anybody caught a glimpse of these cool minis yet, Very nice precious oh yes.

have to agree with you; very nice, very detailed yet well expensive (I\'ve ordered some!!! Whoops!)

mind you, I paint and don\'t game so don\'t need shed loads of them.

I have no idea why they are releasing these through FW. They\'d sell truck loads if they were a plastic regi box - surely worth the investment!

I do like those Las-Carbines.....

They\'re good enough to deserve a 2nd thread about them. However I don\'t know if, to me, they\'re good enough for the cost. There are part of them which are excelent, and other parts which let me down a little, like their shoulder plates. Although I have to admit they\'re growing on me. I\'m just trying to stay strong and keep myself from replacing all my (already finished) IG for my witchhunters army with new models...

I swear this witchhunters army will never be done! After CCV and Paint aid I swear I will get back to them.

@ Orb sorry if I have repeated a thread my pc has been off line for a couple of days so I am a bit out of touch and I don\'t usually browse the search forums options.

@Spacemunkie I gotta agree with you there but I suspect that the rules for these troops will be released in Imperial Armour III and therefore production of the troop types will fall to them.

I\'m guessing its a combination of things.

Forgeworld are stretching their wings (and letting Simon stretch his, he is a serious talent), there are things you can do with resin that you can\'t with a plastic kit.

GW focus on the core troops for the core game, these are a pretty niche army. although given the quality they will probably crop up all over the place.

As for price, yeah a little steep, but again they are resin, and not mass produced. I will probably get some for my witch hunters.

Thats 4 pounds each!!! ( am good at maths, my mum said) :duh:

so buy the ones w/o the parachute, they can be yours for ONLY 3.50 per mini :)
i dont like the parachutes anyway :\\
i dont think they are too expensive compared to other fw products ... in regard to \"normal persons\" and not us mini paiters they\'re bloody expensive, i agree :)

If I do another order from FW............. Revernant Titan (Homer Simpson drooling moment). Which would you rather have, 30 poxy Imerial-guard-men or the biggest, best thing FW have done for a while!!! (or 40-ish of the w/o shute geezers)

Not sold to the tall annoying geezer in the glasses! ;)

their guns have to be based on the Lt morita rifles in Starship troopers! they look almost identical.

very nice looking troops, i wouldnt mind some for my self, but im going halves with a friend on some ogre bulls so im a bit low on finances at the moment

I agree with the should\'ve been done in plastic opinion.They would clean up with these in boxes,look at what the catachans did,although I never think Imperial Guard look right without the old combat goggles:cool:lol:bouncy::moon:Don one-Solo mafia
