I actually know Biffy Clyro lol Way back on the west coast band scene!

I\'m quite looking forward to The Smashing Pumpkins new release...
Apart from that \"Year Zero\" by NIN is rather spiffy

The last albums I bought were The Zutons, The Feeling and Tenacious D (all great). But at the same time I also bought \"Monty Python Sings\" which outstrips them all lol

Strangely I\'ve lost touch with modern music since the death of Top of the Pops. If I listen to the radio its for the comedy shows or Radio 2 so most of what\'s been mentioned has flown over my head too. However, I\'ve been using Youtube to catch up on some things like Lily Allen (the Alfie video is great fun).

Ah Radio 2 where you can listen to, but not look at Chris Evan\'s big ugly mug.

White Stripes \"Icky Thump\" (one of the strangest collections of songs EVER assembled into one disc :D).

You listen to much Jazz?
As The White Stripes is not a strange collection of music, compared to some of that stuff.

I don\'t expect anyone to have heard these, but some of my favourite albums of this year are DJ Hidden \"The later after\", Edgey \"Flawed\" and Squaremeter \"Nyx\".

heard of them a bit ritual, take me back to my jungle days!!
Yeah! DJ Hidden\'s and Edgey\'s current stuff is darker, harder and more industrial. But the jungle and rough d\'n\'b influence is still there.

A little, Ornette Coleman, Coltrane, Wynton Marsalis, Wes Montgomery etc.

Icky Thump is still quirky, listen to \"Rag and Bone\" and \"Prickly Thorn, Sweetly Worn\".
