Was torn between and 8 or 9 on the wood elf. when in doubt, vote higher.

Do a search on bow strings. My fav is cat whiskers.

I voted on both of them before I saw this in the forum, they are both very good works.

I was painting Tiriel over the weekend (although my painting doesn\'t compare) so I was looking at a couple of spots that are ... well interesting ... your photos don\'t directly have the necessary angle but you can see it in spots. Light leather panties I think? (Seeing that she is completely in armor, you would think that she would be better able to \"cover her rear.\")

The wounds are great ... from a painting perspective. But I\'m not sure she would hold the sword like that if she was getting attacked from that side. Minor nit pick in an otherwise excellent idea.

Saw these before the thread as well. I really like what you did with Tiriel. The wounds are a nice addition. I also like you take on the wood elf. Interesting thought with the elves skin tones following the seasons.

Yeah, the Meier elves rock, especially in hands of the likes of you. I especially like the mail and the trousers.

I don\'t think you can say \"pants\" for elves, can you? ;)

I like the idea of the chameleon elves, but, well, to tell you the truth, I prefer to keep greenskins for orcs.

Perhaps this is how a 1/2 orc 1/2 elf would look like? If he survived to adulthood without being killed by one side of the family or other, that is.

@airhead - thanks for the tip! I have a cat :)

@tzor - yes, you are right... the blood looked interesting there because NMM was less interesting on that thigh, and this arm was damaged & repaired with green stuff. but you are right about the position of the attacker.

@mclimbin - lol about the greenskins. probably in Spring thay simply have more healthy skintones, with more life?

and thanks all :)
