Flame Effect

Hiya!

Just posted Hasslefree\'s newest version of Imogen. She has no wings this time, has the same color scheme as my earlier version... BUT! This time I got brave and tried some reflected light from her sword.

I didn\'t make her shadows go all the way black because I wanted it to look good in normal light viewing too. Sorta as if she\'d had her flaming sword \"turned on\" in normal daylight. Does that make sense? Knowing me, probably not....:p

BTW is the pic too big? It looks too big to me, but others say no.

Beatiful!
The flame, the reflections and especially the texture of the armour.
It\'s just a shame that we don\'t get to see a front shot of her face.
And the picture\'s size is fine.
Gave it a 9.

Saw this on FOD the other week and loved it. It\'s given me some ideas that I plan on trying out and I have to say, that\'s the first time I\'ve noticed that miniature having nipples peaking out.

:p

Excelent delivery on the sword, hair and skin tones. Maybe you could pass on some tips? i can never stop myself... i paint to flame and then want to highlight the other colors up to a red ting instead of white light, then relise it\'s ruined and never post. Where\'s the self restraint come from? Or am i just a mutant???

Idunno what kind of advice to give.. There\'s the usual thin your paint rant...
I guess the restraint comes from just getting sick and tired of fiddling with it? Actually I agonized over this one for awhiles, so I was a bit hesitant about how it would be viewed by others.

Though it is nice to know someone likes it. :)

And because I\'ve been asked this before...
