For those who paint with their kids...

I tried painting with kids, however, they were horrible with the detail especially around the eyes, so I gave up and went back to brushes.:p

I actually let the kids (5 & 2) do washes on some terrain pieces. They didn\'t do a half bad job.

My son\'s Eldar? They\'re \"mostly\" green. With some red. And blue. And yellow. And brown. And black.

hubby has a bunch of battle bunnies that he lets our daughter (5) paint. We have a really hard time convincing her that she shouldn\'t use the paint right out of the paintpot, she shouldn\'t jab the brush into the paint all the way down to the ferrule, and she doesn\'t have to paint everything red. So, we\'ve resorted to giving her craft paint and an old crappy brush. About the time the battle bunnies look more like blobs with ears, we soak them in the acetone and she gets to start all over again!

Here\'s a quick tip: Get the Crayola washable craft paint. Then you just have to use water.

that\'s a heck of an idea. We just gave her what we had on hand, but I might just go buy some of that...thanks!

That link kinda reminds me of the pink Hello Kitty Sisters of Battle....but I think they are cool.

Eventhough my daughter has only just turned 5 she wants to paint with me. To avoid the aruments and comments like \"Please dont chew on my brushes and paint the dog purple,\" I would get up at midnight and paint until 3-4am. Was getting too tired so O bought her some plastic knights and gave her my old brushes. She sits next to me and uses her kids paint cake pallette to paint as I do.
All are happy...for approx 3 minutes until she gets bored.

Aww man! Here I was thinking I was going to be doing something unique. Then again, mine are planned to be Hello Kitty Kaos Marines... so maybe that\'s okay.
