Forgeworld Commissar Tank Commander Conversion

Right - I\'ve finally got round to starting THIS idea too :p

Only thing is - now I\'ve pinned and joined the commisar body to the legs, the torso looks quite long...

This isn\'t much of an issue, given the strange proportions in GW figures, but the join need something to cover it up.

Round the back will be simple, as I can disguise the whole join by adding the tails of his greatcoat, but as it is open at the front, I need something else...

I have started to lengthen the sash, but this is now a bit high, and it might look a bit strange to add a belt or something below it...

I\'m really after some opinions on this, as otherwise it will end up being another \"I\'ll come back to that one\" :p

Front (The bit that needs help - I\'ll try and get some better pics soon, not easy to see in this one)

Back - once I finish with the coat tails, this will look fine.

Can\'t really see much in the picture, but it looks like the exact same conversion I tried a couple years ago. Mine never got done, I got pissed off at him when I realised I had done all that sculpting and his boots were way too small. Hopefully you don\'t run into the same problem :D

Yeah - the coat will also be extended round to the front, but it is unbuttoned and open...

I haven\'t managed to get a picture yet - but if you have a look at DR\'s EXCELLENT version (Unconverted) you will see what I mean...
