Gamesday Baltimore

I was just wondering if anyone here was going to be at Gamesday in Baltimore this May. I\'ve never been to a convention, but now live in Maryland so thought I might drive up for a day. I\'d be far more likely if I knew some of you would be there and I could see some of your stuff in person.

Yes you should definitley go!
Even though I\'m a UK attendee(& can\'t go to Baltimore) I would recommend that you go. Complete madness & mayhem.

However, if it\'s anything like the UK please remember to take a large can of deoderant, not for yourself but for the malodourous ones you will suffer from.(Unless this is purely a UK thing [which wouldn\'t surprize me!])

Golden Deamon in the UK is usually a total scrap to get to see any figures, but it\'s always worth the entry if you get a finalist certificate at the very least. You could get more!

I believe the Baltimore Golden Demons are in June, Chicago in July and there is supposed to be one in LA in May (30-31st timeframe).

Ah yes, I seem to have been getting 2 events confused. I\'m not sure there are minis at Gamesday.
June is probably going to be better for me anyway.

What you\'re looking for is Gamesday 2003 to be held in the Baltimore Convention Center on June 20 & 21. All the mini events take place on Saturday the 21, except they scheduled the seminar with Tim Adcock (sculptor of Epic, BF Gothic, and 40K vehicles) Friday night. Go figure.

I\'ll probably be going down on Saturday. I hope to be entering something(s), though I don\'t know what yet. I wanna get my feet wet.

Well, as more as a note to all my friends here rather than messaging them singaly, I\'m afriad to say I\'m NOT going to Baltimore (And I was so looking forward to White Castles...) But I AM going to LA... That is, of course if school will just end!! I really need to work more on my entries, too.. Course I bought them around the time of last year\'s GDs.... that\'s not laziness, that\'s pre-planning.... He sez, typing when he could be painting..

I\'ve never gone to any mini event and I\'m thinking about going to Baltimore Games Day. I live in northern Va, so it\'ll take a couple of hours to get there but hopefully it\'ll be worth it.
