There\'s no need to keep showing off about your freedom to drink alcohol in public James - there is more to life than that.

I suppose there has to be if people won\'t sell you beer!

You considered a job as a teacher....? :D
I have indeed lol I was just commenting on the fact that a large percentage of Mr. Sequeira\'s posts are about how cool he is because he drinks beer, picking on young\'uns, or both at the same time like here :p The fact that he rarely uses correct punctuation or does posts more than one line long further aggravates my sensibilities. Now if you\'ll excuse me, I\'m off for my morning shandy :drunk:

I think its a cool min, the only problem i see is the huge mass of green at the front of the orc because oif the folded arms so some sort of wrist band or something would be good. The green comes out too strong because of the size of the pic, but i think its an amazing job, so neat and perfect. A bit of weathering would do it wonders though.

Lets not forget his always riveting \'GW are bad, m\'kay!\' posts! ;)

Don\'t mind the model here, don\'t think it is that exciting either though. The paint job technique is fine, the colour choices are rubbish, but this is a problem with the entire Orc army, not just this model. That skin colour is just a bag of wank (to put it nicely) and it runs through the whole range. A shocking initial decision for how to paint the GW Orcs and whoever made it should be flogged savagely, regardless of how overworked, or underpaid they are, or what other quality miniatures they painted.

hmm I think it\'s pretty cool. A few technicalities though with the sculpting. Looks more like a cool conversion

The paintjob is nice technically, the skin is very well painted, but I don\'t like the colourselections. I think they green they\'ve used on most of the studio orcs and goblins is a bit too cold and looks pretty much the same all over.. makes the sculpts look more uninspiring and less personal. Introducing browns and red would have been a good idea imo. And not painting the iris/pupil in this case detracts from it\'s expression. But as someone said I can definately see this showing up as a conversion

What brings this down the most however is presentation. The photo has an odd angle and you get no real sense of the mini imo.

How accurate is this as being the Gamesday mini?

I was talking to my local GW manager today and he said that the gamesday bits have always alternated between fantasy and 40k.

He would be very suprised if they did 2 fantasy pieces on the trot.
