Hi all, I have started a new project which is turning out to be quite fun. I am painting a Scrunt Army from Olley\'s Armies and I have started with the Texan Scrunts. In all there are 9 of these to do and this is the first one to be completed so far.

Clearly based around the image of ZZ Top they are a blast to paint. I have started the basics on the next one and will post further wips as I go along.

So is every girl crazy bout a sharp dressed scrunt?

He got legs (short ones), he knows how to use them.

Those look fantastic I\'ve got to get some of them. It makes me want to dig out my old Squat bikers.

Oh, and your paint job is pretty beardtastic too

Yup, good stuff for sure, the shades and contrast in the trouser creases being my favourite bits. Is that the slightest hint of a mould line I can see running down the shoulder pad though?

Yep unfortunately it is and I hadn\'t noticed it until I had gotten very near to finishing it. These are intended for gaming more than displaying so it shouldn\'t be too bad when he is among the rest of them.

What would have been really cool is if you had sculpted a little set of ZZ car keys for his right hand to hold on to!

Well I can\'t sculpt to save my life but that would be cool, I do have a flatbed truck though that is going to end up being a beat up zz top style car

I am hoping to be able to make a display base of a bombed out western style saloon as a backdrop with a couple of choppers outside too.

Here is no 4 of the 9 now finished, I am really loving these little guys and I think this is my favourite so far.

Only another 5 to go lol.
