Go to that Steak Place, right across the way....Excellent food!
I went for my first (and only) time a few years back. It\'s quite a spectacle. I actually rather enjoyed the \'seminars\' they gave. I don\'t know why but they were interesting. Plus I developed a serious man crush on one of the GW guys....He was just seemed uber cool to me.

talk to the people, I find that to be the most enjoyable part. Meeting up with people you know and having a chat. Don\'t hesitate to show your mini to good painters for advice they are always willing to help (Jeremie will be there and is always willing to chat).
if the mini gallery is overcrowded go have a look while they are anouncing the winners, you\'re not missing out on much and get to see the minis in relative peace and quiet.

Last time I was in Chicago I was passing through on bus. I suggest avoiding the bus station. Before that it was 1976. All I can say is Great America was a blast to a 5-year old in 1976.
