Hy Folx.
This is my entry for germans \"In Farbe 2007\" (\"in color 2007\") contest in the categorie \"Sci-Fi Minis\".
The modell is from \"Hasslefree\" and it is painted in NMM. The pose is a little bit static, but I like the face and the little details. First I wanted to add a little freehand on the shirt or at least some \"blood stains\" but I then thought it would overload the mini so I decided to stick with the plain shirt.

That\'s a really nice, clean paintjob (almost too clean for the subject). Detail and blending are both excellent, I love the smiley on the braces lol and the US flag belt buckle. Great NMM and base too. would maybe like to see him dirtied up a bit but can\'t fault the painting at all, nice mini too! Good luck with the comp.

The flag on the belt is great and the smiley face on the suspenders is a hoot. However it\'s the camo that really jumps out at me. best looking camo i have ever seen.

*LOL* I am glad I left the smily as it is... lol First it was just a little joke for myself and I wanted to paint it over with some \"brazen\" look later. But by the time I wanted to change it I thought it would add a little funny aspect and so I finally left it.

It\'s an awesome paintjob (I really like the head stubble) but it\'s those tiny details that \"humanize\" the mini.
