Hey all

I just surfed the net to find some information about Bonzai trees and how to make Wire replicas of thoes and stumpled upon this awesome site!

linky

Loads of tutorials and information, ment for \"Military scale modelers\" but with a bit of modification, alot of this stuff can be easily used to created dioramas for our minis! Also, some tutorials on weathering of metals and other great stuff...

I can recomend this greatly!

Just thought I would share my find! :)

Bookmarked.
Great but the list of material used for some of their best work scares me.
Most them I didn\'t know they existed

It\'s amazing, also if you want to try out sculpting and creating your own moulds, the model page tells you how to... It\'s a great resource :)

I hope it benefits you all, I know it will deffinatly benifit me!

It\'s easy to forgot about them (sadly)

but military modellers have been doing this stuff for some time, and there are tons of good resources around.

Very good link! Thanks.

DS, bug your IT guy for some scrap Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable. Cut some 9\" lengths, strip the outer jacket. You now have 4 pairs of wires. Steal one more pair of wires from another length. 5 pairs of wires will make some nice 4\" trees. Bend them in two and twist them up. pull out 4 wires (2 pair) and make a branch, repeat, repeat.

I glue mine onto 1.5\" washers to give them a bit of stability and mass. I also sink magnets into the terrain which allows me to remove trees for Line of Site and other game issues.
