Guardian Warjack

Well I finally desided to start a Warmachine army. I wanted to keep it fairly simple ie. not spend a lot of time one each model. There is about 10hrs in this model. It did win first place at Orc Con in the Warmachine catagory so that was nice. Anyways, for something thrown together, what do you think?

Thrown together?!? ???

It\'s really nice. The ivory is wonderfully warm. Did you use p3 paints on him? The colors sure look like it.

How did you do the gold areas with all the busy detail?

Some really nice colours there all painted and combined really well. Just the right level of detail too to add some real depth and character to the piece, very nice - have voted.

yes, I used P3 almost entirely on this warjack, except for the wonderwash on the metal parts. I really like the way the P3\'s work. You can do really quick blends (which may not be up to competition quality) that look great on gaming pieces like this one. Don\'t get me wrong...I am not throwing away any of my paints. You use every tool at your disposal. I just really like my new paints. Also they are the only paints I know of that you can use right out of the pot with no watering down. This is great when painting armies (not for competition pieces...alwasy thin those paints).
