Just wanted to wish you uk guys happy EU-voting tomorrow and after quick look on my facebook feed of my brittish friends i hope you will avoid a civil war in the process. :soldier: (Not convinced this kind of voting is a good thing though as it clearly divide the country in a kind of inflammatory way, but hey ho. guess things will calm down)

Anyway- happy voting and personally i hope you guys are still with us after tomorrow. will be a thriller for sure.

At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist im getting the feeling that no matter how a person votes we will be staying in the EU.
There is WAY TO MANY important people wanting to stay in, so that's how its going to be.

I think so too but if that happens.....there will be mayhem! :soldier:

*on a side note, I'm sick of all the coverage as it has just muddied the argument and not given the information in a neutral stance for people to make up their minds.

Have to agree with this, cant go anywhere at the moment without hearing people talking about it and it's all over the TV plus heavily biased leaflets through the door at least twice a week, it's become very hard to cut through the bs to find any actual information on the subject and now it just seems to be a popularity contest between which politicians and/or celebrities you like more

God what a nightmare if we leave THINK people!! Euromillitaire?!? are all the foreign painters going to need visas? What will happen about Spanish and polish and yes even sweedish painters coming to GD?!! Yes I know Nigel Farage would say that those 'orrible foreigners are taking our Golden demons but heck I see it as a humanitarian necessity to offer the crème d la crème of competitions to Johnny foreigner. Also what about us visiting Monte? eh?????

And the elephant in the room .....tariffs that the Germans and French are sure to stick on scale 75 paints and Andrea miniatures! As the European commissionaires have stated out means out and there have to be meaningful repercussions or the whole EU could collapse! Yes I know that we sell more GW paints to the EU than the EU sells scale 75 paints to England (Scotland doesn't count as clearly they would be off out of the UK if we left as there is no chance Nicola Sturgeon could survive without Figone resin casts!) so we would be a net gainer of tax BUT THINK again GW moved its paint production from china to Poland so we would be screwed!!!! and GW would make less of a mark up on there excellent hobby essentials!!!!!

If this alone is not a reason to vote remain that being the possible demise of the worlds NAY THE UNIVERSES finest self proclaimed toy soldier manufacturer then I don't know what is.

SO VOTE VOTE VOTE with you paintbrushes to REMAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Postal Vote done more than a week ago.
My view that the protection for the working bods of this country provided by the EU, no matter how poor that is, will be better than the free for all destruction of our rights should we leave.
Consider as well that there are so many EU backed redevelopments and small business supports that this "Govt" would be happy to allow to fail.

BUT as for the campaigning, that has been an absolute shambles, with lies and fear mongering from both David Cameron, Boris Johnston and Farage.
(Apologies for the bad language.)

There's some idiot on the news comparing it with WW2, my God it's not that bad ffs. Yes it's going to be a mess but comparing it with a world war is stupid and frankly insulting to the people who lived through it.

khavor now is a very good time for non UK people to place forgeworld orders with the strength of the currency. I'm fully expecting to see a price hike for non-Uk FW buyers soon
