Dog's bollocks.
Enough said!
Wot he said! And I can't believe I've not posted on this before.... it really floats my boat, Great metals, soft fleshtones, and a lovely tribal tattoo. Really inspiring work which makes me want to get my tin open and paint my own. Real metallics done properly is always a joy to see!
For the sake of balancing out my gushing critique, if I was to look at a point where you perhaps step it up a notch would be the colour of the flesh. It looks a little uniformly painted, beautiful, but maybe a little too much like flesh coloured paint. It could do with some contrasting glazes to make him look a little more rustic/real. Sometimes some thin glazes of a very dark red/brown in the shadows and some really thin glazing of an olive drab for the most heavily shadowed areas.
(OMG I sound like a right arse!)
But that is really OTT critique as he is looking fantastic (and it is those subtle colour changes that get easily lost when a miniature is photographed)!
Nice one Tim!
