Hi all

I am running low on my Testors Dullcoat and wondered if there is a stockist UK based that deals in the wonderful stuff.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Tim.

Can\'t help you on the UK front, tidoco, but I can run down to the local modelling shop and pick up a bottle -- the stuff here is labelled Model Master, made in Italy, but it is the exact same as Dullcote, Testor obvioulsly licenses the production out down there. Let me know if this can help.

The Sidings is about 2 minutes away from my old folks. The guy who runs it is a thoroughly decent bloke. He didn\'t have any Dullcoat before Christmas \'cos I bought it all! He may not have any now because the US were ramping up export tax to EU countries......

I also have a can to donate should you require it Tim....;)

Anyone considered switching to a water-based alternative if you\'re having trouble getting Dullcote? I just read about Xtracrylics matt varnish which is supposed to be good, and there\'s a very reliable ModelMaster acrylic matt too.

There\'s also the option of Klear with Tamiya flat base added, works a treat and it\'s dead cheap. I would prefer to airbrush this to be on the safe side myself but I tried it by brush the other day and it worked really well.
