Help preping and painting Eldar

I just got some Eldar models cheap for the fun of painting them. Trouble is I don\'t know what the heck they carry. I\'ve been able to figure out one item is called a \"web of skulls\" and another a \"melta gun\".
Also got a Warpspider exarch. I was wondering in game terms how these weapons work, as that will affect how I paint them/prep them. For example, are those 2 extra arms on the exarch claws? or guns (which would need to be drilled)?

Oh, and a couple of support weapons just for fun, like a heavy plasma gun.

WEB of skulls: basically a nasty type of BOLO, clubbing/throwing weapon.
Melta gun is now in 3rd edition a \"Fusion gun\" short range (12\") anti tank weapon.

Warpspider Exarch: the weapons are basically monofilament weapons which throw out a cloud of \'monofiliment\' and turn their victim into strawberry Sushi.
The Claws act as power weapons in close combat. (Basic colour scheme for Warpspiders was a red under suit and black carapace, please yourself for the extra bits).
If you don\'t play 40K drop me a line at Dragonsreach@hotmail.com & I\'ll forward you all the relevant fluff from the books.
(Not at home as I write this )

Mike
