Hi all, after a long time of inactivity I have managed to finish a miniature that I am actually fairly happy with, Himmlich and Bonecrusher from Mappuppet Miniatures is a great sculpt by Edgar Ramos and a real joy to put together and paint.

I have only put up the front view in the gallery to save on alot of stitching and editing and loss of picture quality.
I hope you like it, I know I enjoyed painting it.

Spot on. Makes me want to paint something.

Gear finally arrives on Wednesday. Paint! And miniatures!! What a novelty....

Edgar should turn one of these into a \'Not Big Daddy\' from Bioshock and turn the gobbo into a Little Sister.

Looks good, I can see why you\'re happy with it. I do think the groundwork could do with having a little more highlighting to better match the lighting on the figure though.

Quality work, Tim! I\'m really digging the oily metallics on this one! I agree with Einion about the base, though. There\'s a bit too much mid-grey on it and it gives a rather different impression of the lighting than the mini does. But, this is sort of nit-picking, really.

I have this mini myself and I\'m beginning to feel an itch to paint it! A good sign of a quality paint job! ;)

Nice one! The sculpt is very cool as well. Maybe the skintone could be slightly more unhealthy though otherwise great.

Thanks for all the replies guys, I have always loved Edgar\'s work and this one was no exception. I am kind of hooked on Madpuppet minis at the moment and have a few more from the post apocalyptic range I want to paint.

Whoops! I was massively underwhelmed by the game - I thought it was a really old-school FPS hiding itself under flash presentation and a few gimmicks. Design of the baddies and scenery was brilliant though.

So much stuff out there for mini sculptors to take inspiration from, and yet most seem to keep coming back to the same tired old shite! It\'s why a lot of Edgar\'s stuff stands out - that and it being well sculpted.

I agree with the masses that the metallics look great on this.

I was trying to come up with some useful criticism, but I like it the way it is, and any suggestions wouldn\'t make it better, just different. (I was thinking you could make bonecrushers pants a bit dirtier, but I don\'t know that it would look better, so I say leave it as is.)
