Personally I dont see the problem with it - hogs are not native to the US and actually cause problems to the native wildlife, so whacking the four legged eating machines helps get things back into balance.

Ive seen a smaller (half that size) sow take the side panels, all 4, off the side of a toyota hilux, pulled the bullbars off, shredded two tires, snapped the suspension, but that may have been cause all 3 of us big burly men were sitting on the roof, looking whistfully at the guns next to the tent that her wee one had flattened.

The little one had come through the camp, and got caught in the tent, and my mate had gone to free it, cause it was screaming, at which point I was already heading up on top of the truck, forgetting the rifles, and was yelling at him to do the same and leave it.

He asked why, to hear mummy crashing through the bush, and Ive never seen a big guy move as fast as he did.

We all carried big knives for finishing them, and they were all next to the rifles for cleaning.

Doh.
