Theres no way that things going down from 8 of those rounds, he would have to get within 50 odd yards to be hitting it with any kind of accuracy, and taking into account his size and ability, he aint gonna get all 8 near the heart, the only place to put the thing down.
And if you can show me a fat little kid who can run from three hours through hilly scrub, Ill eat my bandanna, I couldnt do it, and a pig like that is just gonna go,if its not gonna turn and charge, which is the more likely of the two, and no pistol is gonna put down a boar from the front.
Ive seen a grown boar, maybe two thirds the length of that take a .303 rifle round to the head, between the eyes, it gouged all the meat off the top of the head, scrapped the skull, and the thing didnt even slow down.
Finished off with a knife to the throat, and running away, letting her bleed out, poor girl.
E, that thing doesnt make the casull look small, the casull is small next to it.
Thats near enough a rifle round, but Id still think it would struggle to put a boar down, especially a pissed off charging one.
French, you cant fatten out a wild boar, that thing looks solid to me, and after carrying a few of those beasts, they sure feel it.
Youd get good meat out of that, maybe not that much, but its still nice meat, you just gotta tenderise it first.
Get the heart out of that beastie, frenchie may know what Im talking about, the heart of any large beast, especially wild ones, hmm, god thats nice.
