How do you get votes for your posted figures

When posting images of painted figures are they automatically eligible to get voted on?

yes, but first an admin have to set it's status from waiting to active.
After that the image is visible in your gallery and both logged in people and anonymous ones can vote.

What I'd advise is to spread the word around on forums/(anti)social media. Otherwise it will get stuck around 15-20 votes. The only way to get that higher is to be known/have lots of friend/ have extra exposure.
