Duffy has been the man of the house for the past 5 years.

He\'s never peed in shoes, Pirate used to do that. He did that to me once, my favorite pair of leather sandles. I was getting ready for work (I was a life guard in the summers during high school) and I was putting my swim suit on, my pool shorts, shirt, whistle and then sliding my shoes on and *squish*

Pie-Pie! Awwww grodie!

It had congealed during the night a little bit and was kinda thick. It was icky! Oh so icky!

Duff is good though as long as he gets poop walks (he poops about 5 times a day I swear! He just is that way!), gets belly rubs, has a comfy place to sleep (now he has his own bed though in preparation of Aaron moving here, a year from now) and gets treats every so often.

Yup if you love someone enough you can make just about anything work. There are limits to that of course. I don\'t think Aaron and I could get through years apart without the chance to see each other. It wouldn\'t be for lack of love or a fidelity issue it would just be too hard emotionally to be apart that long.

But when you know you want to be together and are willing to change both your lives for the other person . . . it can be bliss! The next year won\'t be that bad because the end to the distance is in sight.

Nick if you have a lady love that you dropped because of distance, totally call her! call her now! NOW I TELL THEE!

And 30s is ANCIENT!

LOL..... our elderly cat makes what we call social statements on any piece of clothing that is left on the floor..cat piss is strong smelling:drool::drool:

Well Its not a about distance for me, my old old ex GF was working in Banff at one the hotels for a year, during that time we was still going out, me at college her on the other side the world, speaking on phones regularly. Then one day I thought \"blow it, I can\'t go a year without seeing her at least once, so I arrange flights and flew 8000 miles to see her for a week (part time college boy can\'t afford much more). had the best week of my life with her skiing and such. Sadly later on we split up though it wasn\'t her being away that broke us up, was her at university that was only 20 miles away when she found someone else . But never mind, I have good memories and a proven dedication.
The phone call is about asking another girl out from work before she gets on a flight and I wont see her again for 2 weeks lol.

have to agree with DR here meg...
i just turned 34 a few weeks ago, and i don\'t feel a day over 16...i\'m still as wild and crazy as i was in high school, only difference is that i don\'t drink anymore...i still chase waves and women, and ride a skateboard everywhere!!!

i\'m stoked for ya, aaron\'s a cool guy(even if he is my paintin\' nemesis when i\'m back in l.a.)...

@aaron: isn\'t it funny how a girl can still make us guys feel like scared prom dates even after all these years of experience...
there\'s a girl back in l.a. that i would marry at the drop of a hat, and when she called me a couple days ago and told me that she loves me, i almost dropped the phone...i\'m still floatin\' on a cloud...
