I\'m not dead, just army painting

I\'m painting my GW high elf army. Maybe I\'ll have a big enough force painted to play by the time the new book comes out.

Anyway, you haven\'t seen anything from me in a while because it\'s slow going. I have discovered the real purpose of heroes in an army though - to break the monotony.
So I\'m off the unit and painting the hero and though you might like a WIP shot.

Isn\'t that an I-kore Elf though? Anyway, the skin is nice, but I\'m not sure if I like the \"pride\" colours, they just seem too garish to me.

Heh, I was thinking the same thing. Skin looks great, but the \"I like men\" colors doesn\'t... yeah, I don\'t know how to put it in words.

First off, thanks for the comments.

And yes, it is an I-Kore elf. The GW elf heroes are pretty dull. I do have some and if I ever play in a GW sanctioned tournament I will sub them in, but for regular play I\'ll use the better stuff. For instance, all of my mages are female just because I like the effect (some Spyglass, Reaper etc.).


And as to the color, I started painting my army a long time ago and put it aside and I\'m just getting back to it. So you may have forgotten about my High Elf Spearmen:

I painted the Termies as Teddies, and used their album art as banners.
I like the \"high\" elves as much...Good Job!lol
