I just downloaded the most amazing toy!

www.earth.google.com

Type in any address and it will give you a pretty detailed satelite photograph. You can see cars in driveways and I imagine you could see people if there were many of them or they were waving flags.

So give me your address, then go outside and wave a flag for about 10 minutes so I can see you.

Aye, it\'s well smart. The images aren\'t real time, according to the website they\'ve all been captured in the last 3 years.

I dont quite get it. I put the web address and just got the Google home page. I put my city in and just got a normal Google list.

Heh...a few days ago a coworker emailed me the link and told me to try it out. Within the next day or so, I get other people emailing me about it and see stuff here. ^_^

I have yet to put it on my comp at home. I\'ll probably try it out tonight.

This is a very cool toy/tool.

It is kind of a charge to look at my place of work (the photos of my home area aren\'t high def) and then type in an area across the globe and zoom to that.

Pretty amazing place, this earth thing.

It doesn\'t seem to recognise, England, U.K., or Great Britain, never mind my house. Perhaps it is USA only??? Mind you, if Margo\'s house is on there....

Having said that...I suppose Moscow would be well plotted and photographed. Perhaps it\'s a good sign therefore that I am not in their database
