I guess this post is more geared for Chern Ann, but anyone can pipe in.
I\'m finally thinking of posting some figures on to eBay for sale, and I am pretty much at a loss for where to start. I know an automation method isn\'t available now, but I was wondering if it would be possible to write a posting tool/wizard which would help post auctions.
Since I\'ve never posted to eBay, I\'m not sure what would be needed, but I\'m going to try anyway.
A title. There are several generic keywords that people always search for, so something that would suggest a title from a CMoN entry would be nice. It could just be the Manufacturer, \"Painted Miniature\" and the CMoN title.
A description. I don\'t think this should be the description that you submit at CMoN. Instead, I think a Template might be nice. Something that has your shipping requirements, payment info, etc. The template could be designed as part of your CMoN profile. Perhaps some section like \"The figure is currently receiving a score of [6.5] on coolminiornot.\" (I know that this has been done, but I don\'t know if it can be attached to an ebay auction.)
Any ideas? Would people like this, or am I alone? It might help standardize the ebay miniature auctions a bit.
