Oh Hell; like I'd do this:-

To Any Firearm.

Armed forces use of Camo I've no problem with, (lets face it any chance for the PBI to be less observed the better).
But privately owned assault weapons? Sorry that twists my noodle about a bit.

I've seen and been allowed to handle a couple of customised weapons, 1911 Colt .45 and a specially adapted grip on a Model 19 S&W. But they were specifically tailored for police combat shooting.

But my wife would like it. And if it would get her out to the range...

It is your gun (over here) so you can paint it how ever you want to.
Look at some of the turkey hunters' shotguns... very cammo.

Look at some of the bench rest compitition shooters' guns. Very bold.

The newer floating transfer film printing (not sure of the technical term for it) has allowed guns to have almost any image imaginable.

Kev - the art on the gun butt looks like the Ruptured Duck's nose art.

B-25 that was one of Doolittle's Raiders.

I'd love to have a go with a 1911
I was allowed to handle, it not fire it.
Didn't feel as comfortable as the Browning Hi-Power or the Berretta, both of which I did fire. (and no didn't get a 'slide nip' on either.)
The most strangest weapon to get used to was the Mauser C96, because of the increased height of the weapon as opposed to the other automatics, it throws your stance off slightly. However after a couple of clips both my father and I were putting the shots where we wanted them.
