@BayRodney, he lost an ongoing battle with leukemia. It is a vicious merciless killer and has taken too many of my friends and now one of my favorite artists.

The world will be a slightly duller place now, but now he gets to paint with a truely amazing set of brushes.

Godspeed.

&*^%$$^&$* leukemia...almost took my son and now its claimed one of my personal favorite artist. This is why I donate as much money as I can to the Leukemia / Lymphoma Society every year to fund research...

I feel small and sad now. not the way I wanted to start my Friday. :(

WTF?!? But... but... he was... Keith Parkinson was... immortal! This really does come as a shock, every lover of fantasy everywhere has lost an artist of incredible talent. Aye, Grumb, not the way to start a Friday. :(

Long may his legacy continue to inspire us all.

I think this sums his work up perfectly.

I\'m sorry that the world of miniatures has lost such a great talent.

Man, I am so sad. He\'s always been one of my favorite fantasy artists. And if he was battling leukemia for 16 months that means he was going through treatment when I was going through treatment. I wish I\'d known. Not sure why, I just wish I had known. :(

He is immortal. His works will be admired by us all, and we will share them with our families. Further, his works have inspired countless aspiring artists to get into the business, and if that isn\'t an immortal legacy, then I don\'t know what is.

Rest in peace, Mr. Parkinson. Your work is done, and you did it very very well.

Well as long as someone sits there with a box of Parkinson Masterworks on their table, not daring to paint them for fear of not doing them justice, he will be remembered

That\'s bad news. He is a favourite fantasy painter of mine. One of my first sculpts that got me on the way of serious sculpting was based on one of his painting (the Wolven shaman). He\'ll be missed.
