I really like this article. My question to you is how many layers to you use for each color? Do you just keep painting until you are happy with the wat it looks them move to the next? Thanks for your help!

I loved it, have always wondered how to get the metal to look so in-depth. Never thought to use non metallic paints to do that. My question is how do you know which colors to use to get the different effects. I saw you use colors that I didn't think had anything to do with each other for the shade.

This miniature is absolutely spectacular! The metals are amazing and the fabric is literally out of this world! The tutorial is also brilliant very help full an informative, I don't suppose you have one on how the cape was painted? If not I would love to see one and give it a go.

I don't really understand how that warrants a comment in this thread, commenting under the article would have been far more appropriate. There's a reason people get all riled up about necro posts, not that I'm one of them, I was just making a joke because there seems to be a lot more of them around here lately.
