Here he is at long last my Ilyad Games Leonidas now completed. This has given me a few gripes along the way but over all I am very pleased with it and it was for the most part a joy to paint.

I hope you like it as much as I do. I think my next mini will be something a little less complex though lol.

Very nicely done. I really like the use of the green and red. You pulled it off with out looking to christmas like.

..and I rechognize that base too

And wow I thought I made the wall on base pretty large and that guy about dwarfs it.

I bought a box today and they rule, not too complex, nice detail, not a lot of mold lines or loose components, original weapons/looks and I never saw you doing a beastmen model, so I really want to see a master like you paint that!

Cool figure, I think I have one of these somewhere! I love the colours and the model is really well painted. My one comment though.... considering how dirty the white material is on his shield, I think the bottom of his cloak needs to be dirtied up a bit too. Lovely piece

Thanks for all the feedback, votes and comments on this mini. I am very please with this one. I did think about dirtying up the hem of the undergarment and in fact did actually try it on a couple of places but it didn\'t look quite right so I didn\'t carry it on.
Thanks again hopefully it will not be sol ong before the next mini is finished.

awesome Tim love it....something isn\'t ringing right about the base..The base is great I just think it may be the wall playing with my head and screwing scale up a bit ..I don\'t know what it is just something????

love the colours as DFD said green and red without being Christmassy...Has anyone ever mentioned your metallics Rock...:beer:.....hee hee.....but they do in this case yet again...

The green is beautiful and I can guess the problems with Weathering it Brown and green don\'t do good together (except on trees??) particularly that Shade of green..Maybe try something of a subtle effet in the futre using something like Powdered pigments jsut as a thought..
