Lotsa Crazy Warriors

I have spotted at least 2 Chaos Warriors hiding among the people fighting this medieval style woods battle.
How many can you spot?

Since when did SCA allow the chaos symbol.... used to be banned... must be the Enemy Withing Converting the King and Court.

Funny thing is I posted this before going through the pics and actually seeing the Chaos symbol. I was referring to some of the generally scary looking helmets.

As to the SCA and the symbol - it is banned for use in anyone\'s arms because it is a real world symbol easily recognizable, same reason you couldn\'t put a stop sign or the Apple logo.

However, this is Pennsic, and SCA is not the only participant. Most of the guys with horsehair on their helmets are probably not SCA but rather Tuchuks.
Tuchuks do similar stuff but based on fantasy books (Gor). They use SCA fighting rules so traditionally have been allowed at Pennsic. That guy with the Chaos symbol is probably not SCA, or if he is he\'s just ignoring the rules and no one\'s stopped him.

Okay it\'s been a long time since I was actively involved in The Shire of Starleaf Gate, so thought perhaps the rules had changed (and I could bring my bracers out of retirement).

Tuchuks were always accepted here as well, well as much as anyone can accept them.

I think they need more highlighting and shading and the freehand is a little plain..... what do you mean they are real people hmmm well ummm gotta go now

Miss those days I do not. Well only in a I really hate dealing with people who tell me I cant do the period I want to do but they can do some made up shite.

Sorry to hear you had a bum experience Lloyd.
What period were you wanting to do? Most people aren\'t that picky as long as it\'s pre-1630ish. I even knew one guy who did Native American - heck, they were in Europe in the 16th century (as curiosities on display).

I spotted three chaos warriors a hand full of empire soldiers, and at least one samauri that looks like the red power ranger...
