Mary - my version...

Hi all,

here\'s my Mary - I painted her a bit different. I made her an exotic girl. I tried to avoid extreme highlighting on her skin because of the scale.

And it\'s my first attempt at 54mm minis :)

please vote (high) ;) ;)

Did anyone get round to looking at her hair? I think for a young island girl she looks a little to grey; easy on the highlighting. Otherwise I love the skin tone and the smooth blending, oh, and the parrot\'s a lucky fellow.

I saw this posted on Total Model and zipped over here to vote on it. Great job. I want this mini but it\'s sold out in the CMON store.

The highlights on the skin are certainly not too exaggerated, they\'re quite perfect for lighter-than-dark skin. That skin is just brilliant, as are the nipples. :) The parrot/bird thingy is too bright though.

Trying to find the story behind the piece though, she\'s staring at the creature in curiousity. Just wondering whether it\'s gastronomic curiousity or what. :D

Wow, I was searching for threads on dark skin when suddenly, nude women! Fantastic work.

May I use this thread to ask for advice on how to create realistic dark skintones, in particular african and/or mulatto tones?
