Well, I think both are nice (though the male\'s sword is definitely in the \"cricket bat\" Celtos style). From a purely self-interest point of view, I too think that I\'ll have trouble decently painting all the skin on the female... So I vote for the male

Not to be a curmdgeon but I am really not impressed with these figs. They are kind of a hack job, but perhaps that\'s because I\'m comparing to the top sculptors? Perhaps they would cost way too much?

I\'m really not a big fan of the fatty-boom-batty swords, but if a weapon swap is allowed I\'m all for either one.

The slightest edge goes to the male, he is just slightly more appealing.

The only question that remains is whether to give them claymores or katanas...

...But they are not fantastic either.
I can paint any one, the girl give more interesting areas for freehand, and the boy for good textures...

This is a tricky point...
I\'m for a limited conversion, but how do you define limited conversion?
An interesting base, maybe a change of weapons...
But it have to be the same miniature for everyone, I saw some things in the ViC minis that, for my taste, where just too much. Really nice ones, but for example, the guy that did this cosmic clock... Interesting, but really over the top. Is a paint contest, not a sculping or \"transform all that you can\" contest.
So, I think I\'m not for the transformations, just paiting and basing.
