At last I have completed the first of the minis sent to me from greenstuff. This Ilyad games Orc was fun to do and also a very complex mini though it does not look it.
I went for the typical orc look and think the look is ok. If you would like to vote or comment then here is your link.

Very nice work, Tim! The tattoos made a lot of difference, without drawing too much attention away from the rest of the mini. I think this is your best work yet! Very clean and well blended!

I do agree with Avelorn, the photo looks better in the WIP thread. Try adjusting the levels as Sven suggested.

This is really, really nice, as people have said the tatoo compliments the model well without drawing attention away, and the colour balance is good as even with quite a large range of colours it does not look wrong at all.

Thanks I realy enjoyed painting this mini which I think shows in the final result. I love this range of figures and can\'t wait to do some more.

I\'ve been watching this one in the WIP thread too, and I think you\'ve really taken your blending to another level, really nice skills being shown. Also I know you were a little nervious about that tatoo but it turned out very nicely, and the shield for the back to cover the molding flaw there works perfectly.

There are 3 places that stand out to me as a touch troubling to me. First, is the hair, it feels very uniform and a little lacking depth. The highlights are only along the strands and not so much across them showing the flow so to speak. Second, is the blade on his belt, which just doesn\'t seem as done as well as the rest, both blade and hilt. Third is the tongue, it seems too bright to me, it grabs the eye a little too much, not painted poorly, just seems an odd accent choice to me. Forth, (ok, I know I said 3 but this one isn\'t a negative, just something I\'d like to see to push it even higher), is the blade on the spear, which is outstanding, but I think one more bright highlight to really give the feeling of a true hotspot would make it \"pop\" that much more.

Outstanding mini though (all my points are fairly minor overall), great dynamic, bold colors and like I said above, outstanding blending skills, I do really think you showed us your next level here...so what\'s next? :)

Can\'t wait to see!

Very well done. I like the overall feel to it. The skin tones are very striking, yet not to overpowering. The tat is a nice touch.

Voted and left a comment for you.

Nice and bright skintone, the tatoos add good interest,my favourite bits are the spikes on his wrists though, those braces look great! The red on the shield is great, really deep and well defined, top job! :D

A very nice treatment of an interesting mini tidoco2222 (that right foot with its claws is a neat little touch in the sculpt). I liked the green and the armour in the wip I saw recently. Apart from that, I guess my favourite part of the finished job is the blade of the polearm. I like the details on this. I also like the little splashes of colour you\'ve brought in with the blue and the red (I\'m a sucker for little splashes of contrasting bright colours!).

Overall, it\'s a lovely piece of work noteworthy for the clean, smooth finish, and strong definition of the details. Well done. ;)
