The have their Complete Resin Casting Starter Kit:

http://www.ares-server.com/Ares/Ares.asp?MerchantID=RET01229&Action=Catalog&Type=Product&ID=82698

That\'s in the U.S.; apparently there\'s something in there they can\'t export, so they have a separate listing for an Export Version. They also sell, of course, all the various things you\'d need individually, but if you\'re just getting started, the starter kit should set you straight.

They can\'t ship the aerasol release agent, but that could be replaced fairly easily.

Their shipping costs are HUGE!!
I don\'t know why companies do this, the advantage of the internet is an expanded customer base - why chase away paying customers?

I\'d have to say that companies charge huge for shipping because it\'s a huge cost. I\'ve been trying to get some mini selling (new ones) on eBay in a store but the shipping is killing me, espically from Canada where I just can\'t compete in the shipping costs.

In Micro-Marks case they seem to be shipping everything UPS, try asking them for a different shipping method? They might not agree to but the US Post is quite cheap if slow, even international.

MPJ, I can feel your pain. I recently had a package shipped to Canada from the US and shippedo n ethere myself. For the package I was receiveing it turned out to be $18 shipping for a $15 item. Simply ridiculous.

I\'m not sure if their shipping would be any more reasonable, but you might want to check out:

I just sent a package to USA a while back weighing just under 2 kg. That cost me $35.00 (NZ) which is roughly $20.00 US.

They could also offer various mail options including slow boat.
