Never one to finish a project, nor to sit idly by, I have created this page for inspiration. I am going to attempt to give a breakdown of colors used, etc. as I go along. Please feel free to give advice on any one of the following:

SAVAGE ORC BOSS CONVERSION (using Wurzagg Ut Ura Model)
Manufactured: GAMES WORKSHOP
Scultped: MARK BEDFORD
Converted: CHRIS SHETLAND
Conversions: Changed the original head with one from the Orc Boar Boyz Box, added feathers to the Boar from the Lizardman Warrior Plastic Box, chopped off the furry squig from the top of the staff and added axe head pieces from the Plastic Orc Boss Box, added a chain collar around the neck of the boar from the Plastic Giant Box, and lots of green stuff.

That lava is brilliant- had to look twice to realise it was actually painted on- thought at first it was a lighting error or something:rolleyes:

Added a Prowler of the Abyss from Rakham. Since I am a warhammer fan, he will probably be a stand in for a Chaos Dwarf Bull Centaur.

Ayla: Thanks. I plan to bring it up a little more, and I am going to \"TRY\" for some OSL.

DaN: From an extra plastic bit out of the Chaos Maruaders Plastic Regiment set (one of the weapons).

freakinacage: Yeah, it looks that way from the picture on the box.

Tony: Yeah, I am a big fan of these older character models. Hopefully GW will continue to come out with unique ones instead of the same old stuff.

Did some more work on the prowler, hopefully he is beginning to look more disgusting. What do you all think of the crude oil idea?

Did some work on the Elf Lords Bow, his armour, and his skin. I wanted to do the sprite (little monster thing under the tree) in a bluish grey to tie in with the hair, but the more I think about it the more I am thinking that I might do some kind of camouflage type thing (i.e. wherever the sprite is touching he will blend in to that item)... What do you all think?

I think the sprite as chameleon type camo would be cool, but not too much so it disappears completely.

How did you do the colours on the sword, looking superb

Ok, so a bit of an update on Arbaal. Had some serious issues with him. I bought him off Ebay already put together and primed... well, after I started painting I realized that his jaw was glued on upside down. Fixed that. Then his tail fell off as I was painting him. Fixed that. So, for now the only part that I have been really working on is his rear, to make sure that I like the color scheme that I am looking for. I think this is what I am going to go with.

War Paint: Thanks for the advice. As far as the sword, I painted it like I would wood, making each stroke look sort of like grains of wood but with the silver metallics. Then I gave it a small green wash.

Ok guys, a little bit more done on the ettin. For some reason, I lost my original passion with him, but I really want to get him done. I think the brown fur is working much better than the grey was though.

Started work on this guy for a customer. Any tips or suggestions might be helpful. Not done yet, still going to add loads of little bits to make him and the boar look a lot more savage.
