Hi All,

After much toil I have completed my first Sacredblade mini and you can view him here if you would be so kind to take a look and maybe cast a vote and leave a comment.

A great mini, great fun to paint and I am now looking forward to my next project. Thanks all Tim.

Great work Tim! I\'m not crazy about the mini, but your paintjob is excellent! Maybe some eyebrows would make the face look a bit more striking, but that\'s about the only criticism I have.

I pretty much agree with anders, he covered basically exactly what I was about to say, not a huge fan of that sculpt but you\'ve done it well.

I\'m still itching to get my hands on some sacred blade stuff, one upcoming mini in particular.

Thanks guys for your votes and the like, to answer Eric and Anders I did consider eyebrows and it may yet be something I will add, however I have just discovered a ltd edition Thrudd the barbarian by Heresy and have made a start on that so for now Elluvari is done. Your opinions are much appreciated.

Tidoco, what did you use for the diamond cut metal floorplate on this one? I need an effect similar to that for my GD project and I was planning to sculpt it, but I\'d rather not! :)

Eric it came out of a Citadel Scenery battlefield accessories pack along with the oil drums plus there were othe odds and ends in there I might have another one if you like I\'ll have a hunt about for it.

hmmm, I think I may even have some old citadel scenery in the back of the closet, I might already have it. Also I need to cover a larger area and probably need a few of these, so don\'t worry too much to search down another, I very much appreciate the offer though.

Excellent Tim.

I disagree about the eyebrows.I tried them with mine and it didnt look quite right.
Couple of niggles. The mesh \"fencing\" looks false to me.
Another. The red boots while looking great need to be matched with something to balance the top and bottom of the figure.Maybe the chest straps or part of the gun could be red to achieve this.

Matels look great and match the suit really well.

Cant wait to see him lined up with the big guy;)

I voted and left a comment. Your best work to date. I personally would not add the eyebrows to it. The base is very nice and fits in with the feel of the moment. I can picture his comrades around a corner and he is pointing to a target.

Thanks al again for the votes comments and opinions it is very much appreciated.
Mark I see what you mean about the red I hadn\'t thought about it at the time but looking at it now that is a valid point. I may redo the straps at a later date but as I was painting it I just went with what felt right at the time.
