Wow this guy is such a lovely sculpt
The detail made it SO quick to do - I\'ve only spent a day actually PAINTING this so far and I\'ve almost finished him

Naukhel was kind enough to donate this guy as he never got round to doing him, so I figured I should do him ASAP - although it\'s actually taken ME months myself lol

Nice very cool mini and very nice dark sinister paint job. The mini makes me think of Kurgen from highlander if he had been warped into d&d

Yeah - the problem is trying to have different tints and shades of metals without having all different types all over the place As there\'s quite a lot of metal areas on him

(ie. Steel, gold, bronze, etc etc)

Also - I\'m unsure whether to do his eye/sockets OSL or leave them dark and sinister...

I\'m thinking as he was free I might auction him for charity - is there another one of those things coming up I remember reading about on CMoN...?
(If not I\'ll just give the proceeds to sport relief or something)

Sweet, I really like the bone shield. Do you do light black inks over your yellowish browns, or is that just a dark shade of brown?

Colours so FAR

I don\'t think I used any inks on the actual shield though...
Black undercoat - Scorched brown base coat
Bestial brown everywhere except shaded areas, then up to...

(Tries to remember if I used graveyard earth or not... Can\'t remember )

Snakebite leather, and then just gradual mixes of Snakebite and Bleached bone on the uppermost areas.

OK - here\'s the latest on Talarand or whatever he\'s called

Based and ALMOST finished, just a few areas to tidy up on. I\'d appreciate any pointers or anything anyone can give as there\'s a fair bit of metallics on this fella and as he\'s probably being auctioned for Charidee I want him to be as good as I can
