What a bummer! Good job it rained on Saturday. Ricky Ponting\'s innings was one of the best I\'ve ever seen. Absolutely superb.

Still reckon The Ashes are going to be coming home.

Fair play, England had faces like slapped arses afterwards. Ponting is one stubborn bloke. So close! SO CLOSE! I hope England don\'t take this too hard or else it could all go up in smoke.

That\'s the worst of it. If it wasn\'t for the rain there would have been a very likely England win. Momentum. Let\'s hope this isn\'t a case of arrested development :D

We just need to promote Warne to open, find another bowler who doesn\'t believe in charity, and stop giving you guys an innings head start.

You were robbed though, thank you English summer.

Mind you, we were only 50 odd runs adrift, could you have taken another finish like Edgbaston?

Medved, I\'m happy to transfer the bet to the next game, or lay it on the series. I reckon if we are getting within 50 runs and 2 runs when we are playing crap, we\'ll beat you if we can get our game in order.

Damn cricket is keeping me up all night. Felt like %^$#@ at work today.

Whilst all that stuff was happening over the border, we had the Wales vs Rest of the World match for Matthew Maynard\'s testimonial. A 2,500 crowd! That\'s about 20,500 less than in Old Trafford lol

We won though :D

That number grows by the hour! First estimate 10000, then by the end of yesterday it was 15000. They kept to 15000 on Radio 5 Live today, and now you\'ve raised it another 5000 to make 20000. Hyperbole perchance? :innocent:

Give it a couple of weeks and everyone in manchester will have been in the queue. It seems to be a national obsession over there. I kept getting told no one queues like the British (except maybe Soviet era Russians and North Koreans)

Wayhey!!!

Here we go again!

Come on Mr Ploddy - where are you?

Freddie\'s made a splendid ton, Geraint stuck in good knock and now we\'ve taken a quick one! WoooHoooo!

Asleep.

Has anyone heard from Medved recently? He seems to have dropped out in what appears to be his hour of triumph.

Forget Shane Warne making a century, all five of our remaining batsmen will have to make one to give us hope of winning.

If this keeps going I\'ll have to follow Naukhel\'s lead and apologise for overweaning arrogance. I have seen a Test won from this position though.
