Ok I am sorry if this has been covered already but just look at this beauty.

http://uk.games-workshop.com/tyranids/carnifex/1/

Now I am not a big nid fan but that is great and so much better than the current version. IMO

What do you all think?

hate to burst ur bubble but saw them almost a month ago... i love the sucker.... how ever not all the weapon options... thankfully my weapon options will look good on it lol ... hopefully my conversion will too lol (oddly enough the new mini is pretty well the pose i wanted only now i juss gotta set it up right and skulpt the back lol)

I think that is the first of the \"New Tyranids\" that they actually improved on. I can\'t believe it comes with six different heads. If there\'s one good thing you can say about GW, it\'s that they give buckets of extra bitz.

Yep i can see some nice paintjobs of this fella here on cmon in the future, theres only two of the new tyrinid sculpts that i rate, this, and the hive tyrant, we all know games workshop can make good sculpts when they want to, it\'s a shame about some of the new tyranids because whilst not being partcularly bad sculpts they don\'t seem to have progressed, still lustria isn\'t far away, that\'s the time for gw to shine :)

I think this is a great sculpt and like I said sorry if any of you had already seen it.
I am not too impressed with the new Tyrant as that is just a rehash of an older model but this is something completely new and beats both its predecessors. I reckon this will be a £25-£30.00 model here in the UK. I\'ll definately be getting at least one.

But when you look at it in as being part of the battleforce its an absolute bargin! :)

The best of a rather mediocre re-hash of the \'nids.

This one is a definite improvement though. I like the version with all the claws! Such a pain in the arse to paint though:duh:

I think GW wants to make their army deals a bargain so that more people build up armies and start to play. The same with the really affordable 40k starter set.

I like the new carnifex so much..! oh and who\'s sculpted it? :) Jes goodwin really realised the potential of the design. I like the new tyrant too.. a great compromise beween the old and new(er). So much better then other stuff they put out.

I don\'t know what\'s happened, but have they increased their detail-level of the plastic. I took at the new termies.. and they are just beautiful with crisp details. (I know that plastic molds get more and more worn-out etc but I think it is larger improvment than that) I wasn\'t so sure about the GW plastics before.. but nowadays they seem to be as detailed as anything else with less casting errors... and they have so many extra parts also. love it. Hate to clean them though.

The carnifax looks good, quite massive in size compared to the older version. Much better than the first ed. metal model, hated that!, though I do like older nids. All the newer ones seem more real and gritty in lppks than the older models -- hope they keep going in this direction.:)

Well, good thing I sld the old one when I did, then! I think this one looks more \'choppy\' and less \'stompy\' than it should be.. :p
