Hi all, I have just finished my first mini for a while and this is also the first mini that I have managed to complete since having to wear glasses to paint in.
I really like this mini and I must thank matty1001 for trading it with me, I wasn\'t too bothered about quality when I first started it but as time went on and I got more comfortable with the specs I was able to pretty much get back to my old self.

I really love the paintjob you have done on this mini!! The red and white are very crisp and well executed!

One critique is that the beige part of the banner lacks contrast, but the text is very good. Also, the armour plate on his back looks odd, like it is incompletely blended, but this could just be the photo.

Great work!

I paint my thumb.
\' When I grow up, I want to paint metals just like you! :D \'

Seriously, god bless those glasses, it would be quite a shame if you had to quit painting.

I like the text on the banner, small script is too often painted crookedly and this one is really neat.

Thanks everyone for all the comments and feedback. This was a mini that finally got my enthusiasm back for the hobby. I have gone back to Lotr as I am painting up a Khazad Dwarf army these are just going to be gaming minis so no great standard setters here.
I am planning to paint some more Empire stuff soon.

Fantastic work. I\'m glad to see that you settled back in to the hobby. This certainly equals your previous work and shows the considerable skill that folks have come to expect from you.

In every way a great model.

I do intend to paint the master of the raven wing in the near future and I do have a Dark Angel army to paint for some one that I have let down very badly so I must get on and do that. I army give him the Master of the Raven wing as an apology.
