Hello, how do you feel about about updated mammoths? I feel that they should be fixed on mechanics rather than rebuilding. Now they are bit worth 6 pts. Previously they were immune to panic wounds and that was great , nie they are vurnable for every panic list , hit similiar to raiders ( ok sundering but still 6 Dice) and have 1/3 less wounds to cover. What's your opinion?

Hi, I personally am just happy they are now use able. I did a great job painting mine an it's such a fab model. Free folk now have an embarrassment of riches an most difficult thing we face is choosing a list.
I was disappointed they got rid of the trample rule and have just made them a bog standard punchy unit with key words. But for competitive reasons I see why they did. 6 pages of errata does not a good play experience maketh.
Thing is we have so many units competing for the mammoths spot. Frozen shore bear riders at 8 points-sure to be popular. Giant is no slouch at 7 points now with vicious, wun wun slightly puncher giant.
It's a tough call to be honest. But I will certainly want to use mine.
I like the fact they add panic tokens on the charge. Means they might have a place in a bonelord/reaper panic list.
