That's some collection you got going!

Welcome to the madhouse. . if you need help ask :)

As for your painting i would advise you start by improving your neatness across every stage of your painting and smoothness of every application by adding sightly more water and having less on your brush.

Enjoy!

howdy :)

I have to agree with Tommie on all points - wowza on the collection. I've been painting/playing for 20 years, and while now I might have maybe about what you've got, I sure as heck didnt have it 7months in...
Re: painting, again, I have to echo Tommie - work on neatness first, keeping the paint where it should be only, and be willing to go back and fix bits that you've splodged a wee mistake on. (This happens to us all, regardless of how careful we are.) Keeping the paint a bit thinner will mean you have more control (just add a wee bit of water to it.) It may take more layers to get a nice smooth coat (at first it will look blotchy), but you will end up with a mich tidier mini overall.

Good luck, and keep posting those pictures :)

lol i didnt get all of that stuff in 7 months i have only been painting for 7 months =P i have been collecting for quite a few years. But I actually do water down my paints quite a bit now most of those models are from when i 1st started painting the only recent one is logan and the pics arnt really doing justice =/ I use a flow improver instead of just water it helps alot more.

You appear to be getting better as you go so that's a good sign. Even your Logan model looks like he needs thinner paint. The main thing to remember is that if you are painting for your showcase, it is not a race to see how fast you can paint. Taking your time and getting everything right is the real key to painting good figures. Doing your homework and getting prepared for your painting session is equally important. keep after it and improvement will keep coming to you.

I think i just need a better camera instead of a phone cam lol cuz in person the paint is not thick at all i do multiple layers of thin paint i dont rush at all. thanks for the comments guys. i do agree with you though the paint does look think. Anyone have tips on how to do eyes a little better?

better than most. You have the lighting direction down pretty good and you're not drybrushing the hell out of everything. The key is to get the blending much better.

what milosh said. water your colours down a bit more and work by the eavy metal style(shading, base colour and highlights). the steady hand will come with time, dont worry about lines not being straight, that´s all about practice. took me 10 years to be satisfied with my lines. also start trying to do bases and experiment=)

about the collection: that´s massive, i cant believe you managed to buy and collect such a huge amount of minis without giving painting a try:p must be several thousands of dollars in there!
