This one was a lot of fun from the conversion to the paintjob itself. It was the first time to sculpt hands, a weapon and the head. Hopefully papa nurgle will be proud! Here is the votey link:

...and of course lots more pics!
The conversion...Mostly green stuff but the head was from fimo! Special thanks to Tre Manor, Allan C and Matt Gusber for all the lessons and tips on sculpting faces...see I do listen sometimes!!!

The bloody gore on the blade was done by mixing Tamiya Clear red with Woodland Scenics Water Effects. Put the water effects on first, let it dry (it becomes see through) then just paint your blood on top. It makes a cool gorey see through effect. The blade was made from plasticard and some milliput on top. I bent the flag by dipping it in scolding hot water for a few seconds and then slowly and carefully bending it back...don\'t go too fast as it will crack.

I really like this, it\'s awesome! The gore effects are great (especially the multicoloured guts - perfect), and it\'s really smooth at the same time as being Nurgley. Great stuff, well done on the trophy :)

Great job, really nice effects and really well executed. I\'m glad you didnt go ott with them, but used them sparingly to really stand out on the model.

My favourite part is the weapon it looks awesome, overall great

Aren\'t you glad I told you to use the red banner? (well, among several other people too) :) :)

Turned out great and congrats on the trophy!

Yes! Thanks Matt...between you and Meg...I can\'t go wrong! The red banner forces you to look at the ogre and not the banner...here is a look at the yellow banner for those of you who hadn\'t seen it...it was in the wip stages and I couldn\'t make up my mind!!!
