Wonder how much that\'s gonna cost?

Aslo makes you wonder what they are going to do with the items in the background?

I am offended by their use of a defaced bretonian sheild! I dont like this thing. Did they really delay the wood elves just for this?

I was all geared up to give Swordwind a hard time about worrying about a bunch of tree-hugging hippy Elves instead of dead \'ard Ogre cavalry...until the pictures loaded.

That model is not very well done, in my humble opinion. The position of the Ogre doesn\'t look natural at all, there are no reins on the Rhinox at all (and as cantankerous as they are supposed to be, they definitely need one), and the Ogre just looks \"blah.\"

I realize this is a work in progress and I can\'t sculpt to that level - not even close. But if Forge World is going to charge some ungodly price for some fiddly, brittle, fragile resin Rhinox-mounted Ogre cavalry, then they damned well better be sweet looking models - and right now they aren\'t. :(

Its cool, and it will most definatly be out of my price range. Not that I would buy it even if I could. I don\'t play Ogre Kingdoms.

I think that it needs some kind of bit and briddle, or at least a chain running from one of the horns. Maybe have a gnobble holding the chain. I also think that the fur pelt that the Ogre is sitting on should be secured.

I like the defaced shield. It some how seems right.

very cool!

It does say WORK IN PROGRESS, so I wouldn\'t judge it too soon.

I had heard they were making some of these. I love Forgeworld stuff, and this goes on my \'me want\' list. Thanks Tim for the heads up!

Yeah. Thanks. This is sweet. I want one when it\'s finished. I thin the ogre\'s legs looks a bit odd.We will have to see, eh?

It does say that the Ogres grow up with the Rhinox and that an Ogre tests his strength as he grows up by seeing how far he can throw it so therefore it stands to reason that by the time an Ogre reaches maturity it is entirely believable that a Rhinox would be quite dosile to his Ogre keeper.
Possibly then it my be acceptable for the Rhinox not to have a bridle or tack of any sort........who knows.

these are fictional creatureslollollol

anyhow I had heard that there was to be several of these guys (at least that is what I am hoping for) so maybe some of the other poses will be more \'action oriented\'.

Brushlicker and Freak!
You don\'t need reins to ride a horse, a properly trained horse will respond to just a touch from your legs or feet. Knights didn\'t use reins, its kind of hard when you have a sword or lance in one hand and a sheild in the other!

The pose is a little boring, but it looks like they just used the top half of a normal ogre.

I\'m tempted by these, I like the Rhinox heaps and after doing the paint aid ogre I quite like the idea of a small hard hitting army, and a bunch of these would definitely count as that!

Scribor\'s Rhinox looks a lot more like I\'d imagined it,much more dynamism, although I do want to see more GW ones:D;)

Hmm another stink beast for the dull witted earthlings to ride (as Invader Zim would say)... Wonder if GW will make you have at least 5 like regular calvary.. Oh, well.. they kinda remind me about that Esuvee Commerical! :p
