One ugly, dirty mechanical device

I made this giant mole from styrofoam, as usual. An whole idea was taken from one old computer warhammer-based game (don\'t think if anybody remember it :D )

PS Thanks to Danon Yogurt company for elegant form of their bottles -it helped...

Man, it initially was skaven. According to plot envious dwarves destroyed it near Zufbar citadel

Only two of them. Yogurt bottle was already hidden but it compensated by presense of skaven operator))

Now I\'m trying to find my copy of Shadow of the Horned rat.

Very cool, interesting use of styrophoam and great use of colour and rust.

Do you use this to game with, and if so what does it represent? Even if nothing it would make cool scenery

Another fan -cool! Let\'s organize \"Horned rat game club\" ))) I \'ve already have CD with soundtrack
I think it can be used as terrain or a plot element:D No matter -I keep it behind the glass because I don\'t play so often )

Is it an updated version of this one from the 2005 Russian Painting competition? I thought it was cool then and I still do!

Hi man -you are good detective! ;)
You are right, this work was finished in 2005 and never won the competition, because I were there as a witness and other work of Alexander (My name is Evgeny) was deservedly prised. Gw missed photos and prizers(I was in fury that time :cussing: )
I did not dare to put it into my gallery or any forum because always considered that the previous version was painted flatly, unprofessionally and too simply. I think that the second version is much better.

lol Well I used to work in the Northern Europe department at GW and remember seeing the pictures back then when the people that ran that part of the business came back to the UK from the event.

It certainly doesn\'t shock me that they got things confused, I imagine that most of those guys got so drunk that they could barely function at all during the trip!

I like the new dirt and weathering effects you have added to it now, and I think it probably does look a bit more metallic too. I kinda miss the mole machine writing on the base though.

I agree! The mole machine writing would be on the other side of the base though, so it might be still there ;)

Nope, tis gone, replaced with a sensible, but somehow less appealing ground texture.
