Try mixing up some GW Vomit brown with some of your reds? (make some nice rich reds & reddy/orangey highlighty coloury thingy bits too)

Or else...just go & take the big step & go buy youreslf those Vallejo paints

Do you want a very bright orange or a more neutral tone?

If you want it bright, paint some Blazing Orange over a white undercoat. Shade with Blood Red, highlight by adding in some Sunburst Yellow.

If you want a more neutral orange, go with the GW Foundation orange (I forget the name of it. Solar Orange something I think). Shade by adding in some Vermin Brown or Dark Flesh, highlight by adding in a bit of Bubonic Brown to the orange.

Hope this is helpful.

orange shaded with a colour thats kinda like regal blue+fiery orange or black +white or bleached bone will shade to a more neutral greyed tone...a colour between a true blue and cyan basicly, slight desaturation will help keep the intensity down so that it stays towards grey rather than brown

if you use too strong of a blue it will shade the orange towards brown which isnt as nice

you can also use a green/blue(note more green than blue is my preference, so like scaly green) and purple to get a really colourful orange

bronzed flesh or elf flesh can highlight an orange nicely

you can also glaze in some reds to nuance the orange :)

heres an image, because of the reflection ive taken two samples, the colour is one or the other or between...the ones on the right are the greyed mix, the ones on the left are the browned mix:

Nice to see someone experimenting with various mixing complements (much less posting the results)
