Photo poll - which is better?

Which photo has a better overall appearance? The picture is exactly the same for both only the White Balance is different.

It might seem obvious, but to me each has their merits. So if the educated masses could help me. Thanks!

I\'d have to say that I like picture B) better, because it really shows the details just as well as A), and I like the overall darker image and tone of the mini in that picture. however, the nmm on the spear looks better in pic A) It\'s tough, but IMO, I like the general feel of B) Anyways, its an awesome paint job. I really like the trim, with the contrasting red. I also like the cream of the tunic, and the skintones. Awhh hell, I like the whole damn thing!

Bah

Picture B is too dark and I have my monitor set up great where things are very bright! I like A and after seeing the mini for some time up close and personal like, it is by far the better picture, though it still does not come close to the original! Picture B would be waaaaay too dark on most folk\'s monitors IMO!

definately picture A. It is much clearer, as a darker picture doesn\'t add anything to the mini, in fact in my opinion it detracts from it here.

I\'d say A with a little less contrast... it\'s much better than B but doesn\'t quite look like it did in person :) That, after all, should be the ultimate goal of all of our little tricks like Auto Levels and Brightness controls. Looks wicked either way tho ;)

I color correct and edit pictures for magazines on a daily basis. If I was given picture B I would correct it to look something like A. I would at some more black to the shadows and depending on the paper it was going to be printed on pump up the saturation a bit.
So for me A is the better picture.

I also think A is the better one, there is more contrast and the colors look much better just look at the lance´s shaft

Definitely A

SA;

Definitely picture A.

Picture A looks so much cleaner and the colors seem so much brighter. Love to know how you adjusted your colors to get it that bright and clean.

Cheers,

A anyday.

also use levels in photoshop not brightness/contrast or auto\" and curves under image/adjust is decent sometimes and playing with the channels can help specific colors you think may be lacking. also if you go to image adjust hue/saturation and click on master you can access specific colors from there. its a fast great way.

Thanks for all the votes already.

I guess A is currently in the lead. And I agree with all the points mentioned about each picture.

But lets give it more time. Maybe I should combine the 2 picture in layers with photoshop and come up with a happy medium? I consider this \"cheating\" and hate using it. But give us a wee bit time and maybe I\'ll post a \"C\" later? Sound good?

Thanks for the sweet comments on the model. Now that I\'ve been staring at this picture so long, I have to go touchup about a half dozen places, lol!

Vote! Because it\'s a democratic attitude around here.:]

A is clearer on my home monitor - but I want to go to work and look at them there before I make my final descision.

I agree with Jericho. A is brighter and clearer but the contrast (black lining around loin cloth and bodice) could be softened.
Great piece!

Thanks

Pic A. So I have said, and so it shall be.

The mini is painted with bright, festive colors...so it doesn\'t do it justice to take a shaded picture. Plus, some of the details that \'make the mini\', like the detail on the inside of the shield, the painting of the spear haft, and the detail on the cloak are really \'presented\' to the viewer with a brighter picture.
