h.i.g.n.f.y. is fecking brilliant! the adverts actually feature the guys from the pot noodle factory near newport.

We have the same over here.. a famous one is Ramen Noodels but they dont come with the pot.. but hey at 10 for a $1.00 you can\'t beat them.. They are the major food staple of many a poor college student.

well first off the harmony on that ad was fantastic.
and we have cup o noodles which you microwave now. still 10 for 1 but it comes with a handy bowl.

Ive never been a big noodle fan, But Id kill for a proper Kabob with Chilie sauce and some beef and onion crisps right about now

super noodles are different all together. not that they are by any way decent, they still a hundred times better than pot noodles. although the p.n. ar good for ten tours/d of e

Noodles used to be excellent in place of some of the crap we used to get in rat packs
The blocks of noodles were the easiest though we did have one lad try and take 5 pots of pot noodle because he thought that was what we meant.
Mainly because they were light and it didn\'t matter if they got mashed on the yomp just boil the water in your mess tin and throw the=m in much better than some of the crap they used to give us

@WG - I saw some of the Brit troops who visited our site stocking up on Ramen - and when asked they admitted they were better than Brit field rations - course we also used to trade MRE\'s with em as well.

They are not that bad on the wole but they changed them in the 90\'s and where as we used to get dead fly biscuits (Garyboldies) we now get hard tack which take your fillings out and break your teeth even when dunked in tea or coffee.
The coffee that comes with the packs is still like floor sweepings though so when ever I need to use rat packs I have a small plastic container that has decent coffee put in it.
I think the worst has to be the oatmeal they give you for breakfast, no matter how you mix it it is like trying to eat soggy sawdust. Even when mixed with a pack of chocolate powder and 2 packs of sugar it makes pot noodles taste like heaven.
Super noodel sandwich\'s they are the muts nuts, wack em on some warburtons extra thick toastie with some chilli, meal of champions (well not champions exactly, but its easy to make aftera heavy night on the :drunk: ) Pot noodels on the other hand even though they taste nice they really aint to good for ya
I had Pot Noodles once. They had peas in them, and tasted like either dusty cardboard or melamine sawdust, I can\'t remember which.
HIGNFY, on the other hand, cracks me up every time. They remind me of Frank Muir and Dennis Norden somewhat. Did anyone else ever look forward to the next airing of Just A Minute or 20 Questions? Comedic lexiophiles at their best.

I don\'t know what you guys are going on about. we buy pot noodle (i prefer the term cup noodle) and it tastes fine. boiling water does it good. i prefer to not add any sauces they give you (they taste horrible) and just add the herbs, then drain it out put it in a bowl and then put a metric f@ckton of chilli sauce on it. this serves two purposes:
1. Tastes very good.
2. Allows me to have my privacy (gotta love chilli breath)
and i found out recently that my girlfriend\'s sense of smell isn\'t so good so i\'ve got free reign to have as much as i like :beer:
